About

Welcome to my little corner of the internet!

I’m Hima Parayil Kalesan, a passionate humanities researcher with a deep commitment to making a positive impact on society. I hold a PhD in Literary and Cultural Studies from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, where I explored transgenerational trauma in American literature.

Writing is my way of sharing insights, reflections, and stories that resonate with the human experience. Here, you’ll find a collection of personal essays that explore a range of topics close to my heart.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in the fight against climate change. I volunteer with organizations dedicated to preserving our environment and promoting sustainable practices.

Currently, I live in New Jersey with my partner. In addition to my volunteer work and writing, I am immersed in completing a personal project that I am incredibly excited about. Stay tuned for more updates!

Thank you for visiting. I hope my words inspire you and provoke thought. Feel free to explore, engage, and reach out.
